Ghalia Benali is a Belgian-Tunisian artist whose work moves fluidly between cultures and eras. Her voice and presence build bridges between Arabic poetry and  , and jazz, baroque, flamenco, and contemporary sounds.


RECOGNITION

With a deep contralto and magnetic stage presence, she was called “the Aretha Franklin of Carthage” by Philip Catherine — for her power, soul, and creative originality. She is recognised for revitalising Arabic vocal heritage and rendering it contemporary and accessible to new generations.
